Next year is probably going to be a year of experiments, because I love crowdfunding and I love testing new ideas out, which is part of the reason I’m always asking for input. There are people who think of things that I never would, so the more people I get involved the more ideas I get and the more things I get to experiment with. If I’d never found out about crowdfunding I never would have realised how much I get out of all the things I do, even if the experiments don’t always work.

Thanks to a couple of things I’ve done this year I think I do have more readers. *Waves* Hello, everyone. I’m happy to have you here, even if all you do is lurk and read and then lurk some more. Trust me, I’m normally a lurker, so I totally understand. If you want to get involved without delurking to everyone just send me an email or use the feedback form. I’ll even accept prompts that way, for everything from the Never Ending Prompt session to the little random sessions I run when I want inspiration.

Anyway, once again I’ve ended up rambling, so the reason I started the post is because I want to test out one of the ideas I was given. I posted about it before – the Credit Raffle. Now, as there’s four Sundays before the end of the year I thought I’d do something on Sunday, and I want to test out the raffle idea, although it’s not a credit raffle yet. Each one is going to be a little different and as I’m not giving much warning the first raffle is going to be a comment raffle.

I don’t know how exactly it’s going to work yet, whether I’m going to post a number of posts on Sunday and everyone who comments on those posts is entered into the raffle or if it’s going to be one specific post, but everyone will have from whenever I wake up Sunday to whenever I wake up Monday to comment on whatever it is in order to enter the raffle. Comments on all the sites will be included. Now I have an idea for what I want to do with the credit raffle, which will include options such as buying ‘tickets’ with one credit to enter a story raffle, two credits to enter a naming raffle, and three credits to enter an adoption/rental raffle, but the Sunday raffles are going to be pick your own prize. The winner will be able to choose from anything I currently having available on the site, including time on the donor filter.

More information will be posted Sunday and I hope that they will be a success. Oh, and if you win you can give your prize, whatever they may be, to someone else as a gift.
