For some reason the poll had closed itself, so I’ve opened it and I’ll keep it open for another week. At the end of the week I’ll close it – but if we still have a tie I’ll see if I can break it with another poll.

The Case of the Counterfeit Enchantments bonus story poll hasn’t seen any new votes, so there is still a tie. I’ll leave it up until the end of the week before I decide what I’m going to do, because I want to get the bonus story written for Elizabeth, which gives anyone interested a few days to vote.

The Voter’s Story poll and the Prompter’s story poll also both need more votes. The Voter’s poll is tied, while there’s only one vote on the Prompter’s polll, so please come and vote for the collection you want both stories set in, because then I’ll be able to make a start on them.

I have a donation, so what story would you like to see first.

The Advent Poll is still running and I need votes! November is nearly gone and I need to start writing, so I’m going to keep it going until I wake on Thursday. Then I’ll see if the votes are enough to make a decision as to what collection I’m going to be writing for or if the random number generator is.

I’ve just checked the results and had to laugh. Now, instead of having a two way tie, I have a four way tie. Technically I only need one more vote to change this, but I’m almost certain that one vote will lead to a five way tie. :) Now I’m not entirely certain what I’m going to do, but thankfully I have half a month to work it out. I’ll probably end the vote around the 20th, so there is still time to end the tie, so I’ll wait until then before I panic.

We have a tie, again. More votes would be appreciated.

It’s coming up to December, which means it’s time for me to start working out what my advent story is going to be this year. The collection poll is below and I’d appreciate input on how the stories should be structured this year. Last year I did five 5,000 word stories in the Thear collection (which I’ve kept out of the poll this year), so I can do the same this year or I can do something different, like 25,000 words of one story or focusing on two characters and halving the words between them. Just let me know your ideas.

Currently there is a tie. Please vote and then I’ll be able to create the second poll.

There is currently £10 sitting in the general fund. Over the next few days I’ll be posting a number of polls to see how this money should be spend and this is the first of those polls.

Take Our Poll

For every vote I’ll post 500 words of a new story.

Once again I got six votes. As I got six votes for both polls I think that’s pretty good. The winner of the poll was the Fae World and I’m very much looking forward to writing more stories for this collection. It connects with the World Walkers collection, so there may be stories about the fae from that collection.

Next month the Advent Story poll will be posted. I’m hoping to get six votes again, at least.

We currently have a draw – the pagan collection and the world walkers collection have an equal number of votes, but I’m going to keep the poll open for a couple more days, so if you wanted to vote then now is the time to do it.

Poll is here.
