Coming to Earth changed everything, but that’s something the elders, and their families, don’t seem to want to accept. Being here, bringing our magic with us, has affected both the world itself and the people who live here, yet the majority of those who are in charge are willing to bury their heads in the sand about what we’ve done. Of course that’s why we didn’t know that we destroyed at least one world before Kalinia. Now, thanks to going to the school that the Queen set up, some of us do know the truth, because the Queen doesn’t follow in the footsteps of her father or the rest of her family, which she says is because she was never taught to be Queen. She might well be right.
