Where do you get your story ideas from? I'm impressed by the sheer amount of worlds, characters and stories you share on your site!

To be honest a lot of my ideas have come from dreams, as strange as that may sound, although, as time passes, they often evolve into something more. Some of them come from prompts. I like to write to prompts, because they give me an idea to start from. Others simply come from a name, which works for me because I'm much more of a character writer than I am anything else.

Thank you. :) From the very beginning I wanted to share what I'd written and I've been thinking a lot about the next steps I want to talk. I'm going to write an entry on that in a minute.

I think that's pretty cool actually. I've had ideas in dreams, and I've heard more than one author talking about characters appearing in waking dreams or daydreams, too.
