Since James and I moved things in my life seem to be going better than they have been in a very long time - I don't want to say how long it's been, because it's terrifying to think of, but I'm more than grateful for what I already have right now. James is number one on that list, because without him I'd still be living with Mum and her husband, which was slowly destroying me. I'm not going to say that everything is perfect - that would be a lie - but I feel safe, and I always knew how important that was for me to be able to get to a point where I'm more... capable of living life, instead of just surviving. However I'm never going to be one of those people who believes that my happiness is going to last, so I'm still, in my head, preparing for the worst.

Hence the wishlist. Number one on the list is a wish for 2013 as well as the winter holiday season and after that my wishes aren't going to be in any particular order. I'm not even sure I have ten wishes right now.

1. I'd love to have more readers, more donors, and more creators visiting my website or the two mirror sites at LJ and DW. Writing is the only thing I've ever wanted to spend my life doing, even though almost everyone told me I should have a more stable job and write on the side. The only problem with that is... well, spending time with people drains me and when I was at school and college I did write on the side. I was the girl who did a day at school before going home to spend the whole night working on my writing, because it meant everything to me. In the end I suffered from a massive burnout, one I'm still dealing with now, and I don't ever want to go back to that point. No one seems to understand that, not even James (but then I don't expect him to), so my number one wish right now is to at least earn enough to purchase the groceries every month.
Readers are one of the most important things for any writer and I love knowing that people are reading what I write. I don't want to know how many I have, but I'd love it if I could just gain a couple more readers who click the write more button at my website, who occasionally comment to tell me that they enjoyed reading one of the stories I've posted, who let me know that they're reading rather than just staying in the dark.
Donors are something I need if I'm ever going to be able to earn any form of living doing what I love. Ever since I started crowdfunding I've done everything I could to make donating interesting. It's possible to adopt a character, rent a setting, name characters, settings, and get added to the donor filter. I'd love to get one person to adopt a character or rent a setting for actual money, and I'm always open to setting up payment plans for anyone who can't afford to pay the full amount straight away.
When I say I want creators I want anyone who wants to explore my worlds with me, by creating characters they'd love to see, settings they think are interesting, and even write fanfiction. In part it's because I love doing those things and would really enjoy seeing other people getting so into my worlds that they want to become more involved. It's just as important as having readers and donors as far as I'm concerned.

2. Amazon giftcards, because I buy almost all my ebooks from there, apart from the few I get from Smashwords. Right now I have more books that I can possibly read, but I'm one of those people who can never have enough books. James getting me the Kindle (and I got one for Mum for her birthday) has meant that I can buy as many books as I want, because I don't have to worry about shelf space. I never thought I'd like reading on the Kindle, but I do and I almost prefer it, because then I can't get crumbs in the spine or blur the printing by crying on it. I also buy MP3s from there, in an attempt to replace some of the music I lost because I was a moron and loaned my CDs to people who never gave them back.

3. Chocolate. I can never ever have enough chocolate. I prefer milk chocolate to white or dark; I hate nuts in chocolate, but apart from that I'll eat pretty much anything. Poppets are a favourite, as are Maltesers.

4. Etsy giftcards, anyone from the US. At the moment I buy stuff from the Fable Tribe and I'd love to get some more Pia Ravenari art, because I can never have enough, so giftcards would be really good.

5. Tarot cards and oracle cards. I collect them, but I can be really picky. I prefer artwork to anything else and I've sold on a lot of decks of cards because they aren't what I was after. I'm almost certain I have some decks on one of my Amazon wishlists, which can be found by searching for kleegoth@msn.com. Ignore the fiction and kindle books lists, because they need sorting.

6. Any sort of stationary. I seem to collect pens and notebooks, so they'd make me happy.

7. Anything dragony or wolfy, from clothing to little statues.

8. Rabbits. I love rabbit stuff too, so rabbity things would be cool.

9. An online pagan study group, that will push me to do stuff rather than just read about it. I'm awful for that, in part because I never had anywhere I felt comfortable working, but I have that now, so I need to start focusing.

10. A new netbook or laptop. I have to have back-up everythings, so I'd like to have a secondary netbook or laptop in case the netbook I own dies.

And I'm amazed I hit ten things, but then I'm good at wishing for things. :)
