Update: 28th September 2013

I honestly can’t believe it’s nearly the end of September. The month has passed in a blur of dogs, James finally returning to work, stress, and writing (although not as much writing as I’m happy with, but James is going back to nights, so it’ll be easier to get into a routine again). Having a routine is something I’ve really missed, so it’ll be good.
This update is mostly about the Case of the Counterfeit Enchantments, because I really want to begin monetising it better than I have been. It’s nice to be earning from the day care, but it’s writing I’ve always wanted to be my career (I couldn’t have chosen something simple, could I?), so if that’s going to happen I need to focus better on what I want from the crowdfunding that I’m doing. (One of those things is for more people to adopt characters and rent setting, because I write more about characters I don’t know as well that way, but so far they don’t seem to be selling as well as I hoped. Maybe I need to advertise them more.)
So, the plan is to change to a Monday, paid Wednesday, Friday schedule. If I receive £10 in a week then I’ll post the Wednesday update; if I receive £15 I’ll post on Wednesday and extend either Monday or Friday’s update (although this may be done in a second post, if I have already posted that day); and if I receive £20 I’ll post the Wednesday update and extend both Monday and Friday’s update. The aim is to double them, but I’ll see how things go and how late in the day I get the money.
If you want to know what you can put your money towards look at my site, under crowdfunding, and that will show you all your options.
