Sitemap and other updates

The newly created Sitemap is available for easy access to everything, as it shows pages, categorries and tabs. I do need to go through and work on my tab system, because there are some things I want to change, but I think it’s a nice addition to the site.
I have a nice plug-in that means I can add navigational menus to pages, which will make things easier with the landing pages, so today, even though I haven’t done any writing yet (woke up with a headache that won’t go away) has been very productive. Admin work is something I’m going to be working on in the next few days, because I want this site to be easy to navigate and it’s something I haven’t worked enough on. One downside of having the plug-in is that it shows I haven’t been consistent with naming posts, which is one thing I’m going to have to change.
I’m still posting a daily story and I’m enjoying it. The only problem I’m having is the speed with which January is passing. With my partner working night shifts it’s been really hard to work out what day it is, sort out a working schedule, and actually start working on the backlog of things I have to do (unplanned hiatuses are not useful in any way), but I am getting there slowly. An advantage of typing in the dark – my touch typing is slowly getting better.
In the sidebar are new progress meters. One is the story a day meter and the other is for the general fund, because I am looking to fund the next two years of having my site using income from the site. That means I need to earn £60 by the beginning of March, so if you’re enjoying reading the story a day then please toss a some money into the tip jar.

Yay!
Date: 2013-01-21 09:25 pm (UTC)This is really useful. I suggest that under Credits you add "Earning Credits," "Spending Credits," and "Credit Tally" because those are things I look for, so other folks probably do too.

Great idea.

Yeah, consistency is a challenge.

Yay! I really like this.

That's a good idea.
