This week is my partner’s first week of working almost permanently at what was his second job and it’s making my attempts at sorting out a work schedule even more difficult. I’m glad he’s done it, because it should make him less stressed, but at the same time knowing exactly when his shifts were going to be, when he was likely to be back, and the days he would be home was more helpful. Of course, getting used to living with someone is difficult any way. When we were living seperately things were easier, because I always knew when I was going to see him, and it seems as though I had much less to do. (I didn’t though – the only major difference was that I didn’t cook for myself in the evening.)

I’m planning on posting some ‘Write More’ continuations soon and then I have some other stories to write. I want to update some of my website pages. I want to create some more pages, for things like story commissions and ghostwriting, because I want to write more for other people. I’m planning on doing everything I can to make this a successful writing website.

I wondered what had you disappearing for several days, and was hoping it wasn't a big problem.

Irregular schedules are not fun.

Your writing plans sound good.

The last couple of weeks have been very busy. We have a friend who's dealing with some major mental health issues, James has been changing his shifts, and my insomnia has made itself known once again (as it normally does in the autumn). It's all made focusing on writing pretty difficult and I have so many stories that I want to write that I can't figure out which to work on first.

Hopefully I'll be able to do all the things I want to do. I just didn't realise, until I started with the website, how much time it takes to do everything. That's why I need to work out my schedule, but it's not that easy right now, because James' shifts are all over the place. It really doesn't help the insomnia problem.

First you have to have enough of a project that you can see where you're spending time and making money in it. Then you figure out how to track those things, so you can analyze them. Then you look for ways to save time and maximize income. So, you're making progress.
