8: AU Magi: Marnie: Becoming a part of the Carne

Before Marnie had taken on the task of attempting to assassinate the remaining Carne prince and bring their race to an end she’d never thought that it was possible for her to grow to like Thomar. Even though she was technically still his captive it would be easy enough for her to leave, because he knew as well as she did that she wasn’t going to walk away so there were no longer people guarding her everywhere she went. Her mother wouldn’t like it at all if she knew that her daughter was staying with the Carne of her own free will, as she was the matriarch of the Magi who had put all of her effort into eradicating the Carne, and had almost succeeded.

Sometimes I hate my website

Thanks to Elizabeth Barette for letting me know that the link on my Help Needed post was broken. I have a feeling that if I want to switch posts from friends only to public or from donor filter to public I’m going to have to make a whole new post… which isn’t great. The post was showing on my posts list and every time I tried to view it I got a 404 error, so I’ve reposted it all and everything is fine. It does mean that I’m going to have to fiddle with things and that Elizabeth’s comment from the post that was linked to the Help Needed post (Magic of the Thirteen Families) is gone. Sorry, about that.
