Credits and other thoughts
Oct. 16th, 2011 11:10 amMy goal of five people collecting credits has been met today, so I am officially implementing the system permanently. I'm very happy about this because I like the credit system, even though it does mean a little more work for me, and it's helpful as it means I get more stories written for people who are interested in specific collections. Now that I know it's going to be a permanent system I'll add the link to the sidebar, as well as put in some more expensive things.
I'm also in the final stages of some other ideas that will be implemented between now and mid-November. The first is the 'choose-your-own' ebook, which means that people will be able to pick stories that they would most like to have in an ebook (including prompted stories) and then have it sent to them. This is a system that will take time so it's going to be slightly more expensive than normal ebooks. As I currently don't have space for a working printer I'm not able to offer printed hardcopies but I am going to make handwritten copies available. You will be able to buy single stories or a collection of them and this will be expensive due to the time that will go into them, as well as the ink, paper and postage. Some will be available for credits while others will be available for a mix of credits and a donation. Then there is the character and collection spotlight, both of which will be started on the 1st of November. During this time you can ask questions about the character or the collection and get them answered, which may be simple answers or stories. If anyone has a specific character they would like to see in the first spotlight then comment here.
