I'm writing this using my new voice recognition software. It's going a lot better than I thought it would. The only really strange thing is having to say punctuation, as well as having to use my voice to delete things, because I haven't quite got the hang of how much space there needs to be between me trying to back space something and putting in something new. Often it's punctuation, so instead of deleting a word I'll find myself with backspace,. There are times when it isn't quite picking up all the words I say, but that might be because I haven't quite got the mic in the right place.

I'm beginning to feel more positive about it than I was before, but it is really weird staring at the keyboard instead of using it.

A.N. 1000 words, and they were all written using the voice recognition software! I am getting somewhere, although it is a slow process, but it’s something I’m grateful for as even writing a few words hurts at the moment. Using the laptop is interesting, as the keyboard is slightly different, so typing is slightly more difficult… but I’m grateful for the laptop too. At least I have a machine I can use the voice recognition software on properly.
