Update: 25th July 2014
Jul. 25th, 2014 03:20 pmIn the last couple of days I've been exploring my fae's history and, interestingly, it turns out that they were a created race. The race that created them did call Kalinia their home, so now I know that Kalinia's history is much longer than I thought it was, which means I want to go back some more, but I also want to be focusing on my fae. One of the interesting things I found out is that the original race, who called themselves the Artach Silva Lupos, had a habit of creating worlds and races in much the same way as my fae do, which means there is a chance that some of the other worlds I write about might have a connection to the Lupos. This is the sort of thing that happens to me. I love it, but I hate it at the same time, because now there's even more to learn, and I still have all these issues about not having enough time to write everything that I want. Maybe it wouldn't be so much of a problem if I could outline as I could pass on some of the stories that need to be written to other people, but I always learn things as I write, and that makes being able to tell someone else what might happen during a conversation between two characters very difficult.
This has also got me thinking about the way I use my accounts on DW and LJ. Having a personal account and a work account is more hassle that it's worth, so, when I have the funds to be able to buy rename tokens, I'm going to switch to just having one account on each site. I won't be making a fiction filter, because the plug-in I use to post to my mirror accounts makes that much more difficult that it needs to be, but it's always nice and easy to skip my fiction, as I try to put everything under cut tags.
