Probably not canon.

Fifty years was long enough. Patience looked at her reflection in the mirror, the same reflection she’d had since the day her creator had given her the curse of immortality, and all she could think was how much she’d like to see the reflection of the elderly woman she should be. A single tear trickled down her cheek as she thought of everything that had been taken away from her. Maybe she really could get it all back. She didn’t need to look at the screen to remember the words of the advert she’d seen. They’d been stuck in her head for days, even though it did seem too good to be true. One injection was, apparently, all it took.

Was is possible? Could someone have really created an injection that could return her mortality? Every time Patience thought about it she knew it was too good to be true. Yet she couldn’t stop herself from considering the possibility. If it didn’t work then she hadn’t lost anything, but if it did work… she could gain the life she’d never had. Apart from the advert she hadn’t been able to find anything else online about the company or the injection, which should have been worrying her more than it was, and she knew why she was able to push all of the worries she should have to the back of her mind. She didn’t want be a vampire any longer. The problem was that she didn’t want to be dead either, which seemed to be the only other option.

Slowly Patience turned to look at the computer. If she clicked on the advert she’d been taken through to their application form. There was a voice screaming inside her head that she should do it, she wanted to be mortal again. Having more information would help, but she had a feeling that she would be one of their test subjects and the want to have another option outweighed her worries. Finally she nodded to herself, took a deep breathe, and walked over to the computer. Without giving herself a chance to think any more, not wanted to let anything stop her, not even her own worries, she clicked on the advert.

The first part of the form was no different to any of the other forms Patience had filled in before. She entered her name, age, gender, and other relevant information, grateful that it was so normal. When she moved onto the second part she found herself smiling. ‘Why have you chosen to apply for this opportunity?’ ‘What do you think you will gain by becoming human?’ ‘What is the first thing you want to do as a human?’ It wasn’t easy to answer the questions, because she wanted to get the words right. She wanted whoever it was the read the forms to know how much she wanted to be mortal again. It wasn’t something she thought a human could ever really understand, as they’d never been immortal, but she wanted them to, so she would get a chance at becoming something she never thought she could ever be again. Mortal.
