Fundraising for James

As I've said before James doesn't want to be in retail his whole life - it was a job he took when there was nothing else available and it pays the bills, but he wants to be doing something he enjoys, rather than hating going to work every day. We were talking about what he wants to be doing and I did some searching online to find a series of courses that he's been looking at with interest. He's still not entirely certain which one he wants to do, but they all cost the same, so I want to start fundraising for him. If I can get the money together for the registration fee and a module then he won't need to worry for a couple of months about having to pay for anything, and it gives me another couple of months to see if I can bring in enough to cover his next module.

The registration fee is £159.00 and every module he takes will cost £487.00. Once he's done the certificate, which is eight modules, he may go on to the diploma, but right now I want to focus on the certificate. If, for some reason, he chooses to do something else any of the money I have earned for this purpose will be given to him for whatever course he picks. All I want is for him to be able to study a subject that he enjoys without having to worry about how much of his income it's going to take, especially as he has some outgoings in the next couple of months that have to happen - his car is old, and needs work, and he's taking some time off specifically to work on it, so we don't have the same problems we had before. Fortunately that's also something that he enjoys.

I sure everyone knows by now that I write, so if you want to help with my fundraising the best way to do it is to head to my website and throw some money in the tip jar. By doing this you'll get some words in return for helping James to be able to study in the future - put in the notes fundraising for James and whichever collection, character, or story you most want to see more of. This will also add to the site perks. You can purchase anything I have available, including something from my personal account only sale, and I'll make sure to post a weekly update, to show how well things are going. If I manage, by the end of May, to actually raise the registration fee and cost for the first module I'll post at least 50,000 words in June to show my gratitude; if I manage the first two modules I'll post 100,000 words in June; and if, by some miracle, I raise more than that (total: £1134.00) I'll give away three free story bundles.

Signal boosting is always appreciated. I know not everyone has money available to give away, as I'm one of them, so if I raise enough for one module and the registration fee I'll do something nice for all the boosters. I'm not sure what it's going to be yet, but I'll come up with something.
