Why I Shouldn’t Leave Things Until The Last Minute
In the last four days I have written 17,000 words. Obviously I work best when I have a deadline, but next time that deadline is not going to be the last day of the month. Not only was it February (who thought it was a good idea to make a 28 day month – seriously take a couple of days off the month with 31 days and we’ll have a full year of useful length months) but James was ill on the 26th, so I spent the majority of the day looking after him.
One thing I didn’t leave to the last minute was the renewal of my web hosting. Now I have two years of web hosting, so all is good for a while, but one thing that still irritates me is when VAT isn’t included automatically in the price of something I’m buying. Tell me what I’m paying before I hit the ‘yes, I’m happy to pay this price’ button.
My recent donation helped and if anyone else is enjoying reading what I’m writing then chuck a few pennies in the tip jar.
Oh, and the two polls I’m running (Case Bonus Story and General Fund Collection) are both at a deadlock. Please vote and get more words for voters story, which I’ll start posting next month.
